1. Our Promise

iWrite4.me exists to give writers a calm place to finish their work. Your writing is private by default. We do not sell your documents, prompts, drafts, stories, or account data. We only use your information to run the workspace, save your sessions, protect your account, support payments, provide community features, and improve the reliability of the product.

Your writings are protected with encryption in transit, authenticated account access, permission checks, and server-side security controls. Shared documents and published stories become visible only according to the choices you make inside the platform.

2. Information We Collect

We collect account information such as your name, email address, username, password credentials, plan status, profile details, and settings. We collect writing information such as session titles, document content, word counts, writing modes, folder placement, completion status, XP, streaks, and timestamps.

We also collect community and social information when you choose to use those features, including published stories, comments, likes, follows, friend requests, duel activity, referrals, announcements viewed, and support tickets.

3. How We Protect Writing

Writing content is protected while traveling between your browser and iWrite4.me using HTTPS encryption. Access to private sessions requires your signed-in account. The app checks document ownership and sharing permissions before returning private content.

Private sessions are not public. A document stays private unless you publish it to the Community, create a share link, invite another person to view or comment, or otherwise choose to expose it through a feature of the app.

Some platform operations require server-side access to stored content, such as saving sessions, exporting files, showing your own history, support investigation, abuse prevention, moderation of published content, and restoring account functionality. Access is limited to what is needed to operate and protect the service.

4. How We Use Data

We use your data to authenticate you, save and restore sessions, calculate streaks and XP, power folders and pinned documents, run duels, show leaderboards, manage subscriptions, process support requests, send account emails, and keep the service secure.

We do not use your private documents as public marketing content. If writing appears publicly, it is because you published it, shared it, or submitted it through a visible public feature.

5. Sharing, Publishing, and Community

When you publish a story, people may be able to read it, react to it, comment on it, and view public profile information connected to it. When you create a share link, anyone with that link may have the access level you selected. You control whether a private session remains private, is shared, or becomes public.

Community content may be moderated for safety, abuse, spam, illegal material, harassment, or platform integrity. Moderation protects writers and keeps the space usable.

6. Payments and Pro Features

Payment providers process subscription and checkout information. iWrite4.me stores plan status, renewal timing, subscription source, and related account state so the app can unlock Pro features. We do not store full card numbers in the app.

7. Security Responsibilities

Keep your login credentials private. Use a strong password, protect your email account, and sign out on shared devices. If you think your account has been accessed by someone else, change your password and contact support.

We use practical safeguards such as authentication, permission checks, secure transport, abuse monitoring, and operational logging. No online system can promise absolute security, but iWrite4.me is designed to reduce unnecessary exposure and keep private writing private.

8. Retention and Deletion

We keep account and writing data while your account is active so the platform can preserve your workspace, stats, history, and published content. Deleted or failed dangerous-mode sessions may be removed or marked according to the product behavior shown in the app.

You may request account deletion through support. Some records may be retained when needed for security, legal compliance, payments, abuse prevention, or dispute handling.

9. Children, Abuse, and Safety

iWrite4.me is not designed for children under the age required by local law to create an online account. Do not use the service to harass people, publish illegal content, scrape private data, attack the platform, impersonate others, or manipulate rankings.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this document as the product changes. The effective date at the top tells you when this version became active. Material changes may also be announced inside the app.
